Product Transparency

-

Transparency is the currency of trust. Trust inspires loyalty. As AWG Brands strives to be trusted by consumers across brands and products, a small but important element is being added to all AWG Brands packaging. What is that element? It’s a QR code. The techy-looking square might be small but it provides big value to inquisitive consumers.

All AWG Brands items have a library of specification information that has historically provided information to the AWG Quality Assurance team when testing products for regulatory and nutrition compliance. Now that product information is available to consumers. When a product’s QR code is scanned, it directs the consumer to an AWG-owned product landing page with detailed information on the product. Information includes nutritional information, ingredients, allergens, third-party certifications, social compliance programs, usage instructions, advisories and safe handling instructions, as well as company and brand information. Aligned with changing consumer lifestyles, more and more consumers want to make sure the products they are purchasing fit into their needs.

To extend the product information visibility, all AWG Brands products are also searchable on the Smart Label platform. Introduced in December of 2015, Smart Label has grown to include more than 40 companies, with thousands of brands, and tens of thousands of products. Smart Label gives consumers an easy and instantaneous access to detailed information about food, beverage, personal care, household, and pet products.

Dia de los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is an ancient Mexican holiday that dates back more than 3,000 years. It celebrates the lives of deceased loved ones and welcomes their souls for a brief reunion. Altars or memorials are often created with photos, favorite foods, candies, drinks, and candles to honor those who have passed away.
