CITRUS FARMERS ARE PRESERVING THE LAND FOR TOMORROW’S GENERATION

Sunkist’s grower-owners manage 104,000 acres of citrus in California and Arizona.

  • Host for bees – citrus farmers host honey bees in their orchards.
  • Responsible Water Management – citrus farmers have long used the most advanced technology with soil moisture monitors and micro-sprinklers to water trees for just what it needs.
  • No-till farming – improves soil health
  • Hedgerows help with soil erosion; water filtration; and provide bee and butterfly habitat
