Kettle Chips In the chips category, kettle chips have skyrocketed in popularity. Best Choice Kettle Chips will feature the new Best Choice branding and include favorite flavors Original, Mesquite BBQ, Sea Salt & Vinegar, and Jalapeño. Best Choice Superior Selections will also carry a seasonal Dill Pickle flavor.
Pretzels An assortment of pretzels is rolling out from Always Save, Best Choice, and Best Choice Superior Selections. Always Save expands their current offering with new Pretzel Waffles and Pretzel Rods. Best Choice is bringing in two styles of pretzels, both offerings will boast the new Best Choice branding. Finally, Best Choice Superior Selections is offering a seasonal pretzel twist flavor, jalapeño.
Filled Pretzels Filled pretzels have grown in popularity as consumers enjoy them as a snack, meal enhancer or for entertaining. Don’t miss the peanut butter-filled and brownie-filled pretzels from Best Choice Superior Selections.
Crackers The AWG Brands crackers line is getting a big boost! Thanks to assortment optimization work, several of these items are converting from the Always Save brand to Best Choice.
Cookies The new Best Choice Creamy Wheels in updated sizes and packaging are also expanding to include Golden Creamy Wheels and Peanut Butter Creamy Wheels. The taste and price point makes these cookies highly competitive to the national brands!
Toaster Pastries Always Save will now offer toaster pastries in two popular flavors: Frosted Chocolate Fudge and Frosted Strawberry. These 6-pastry packs will offer an opening price point for consumers wanting toaster pastries, but not in the larger sizes of Best Choice.
Organic Dressings Clearly by Best Choice is expanding its USDA-certified organic offerings in several categories starting with salad dressings. All items will feature the new Clearly by Best Choice branding and are competitively priced in the better-for-you arena. Flavors include Ranch, Balsamic Vinaigrette, and Italian Tuscan.
Organic Pickles This new category to the Clearly by Best Choice line includes three varieties: Kosher Baby Dills, Bread & Butter Chips, and Kosher Dill Spears.
Organic Flours The Clearly by Best Choice baking line continues to grow with the addition of two new flours: All-Purpose and Whole Wheat.
Organic Tomatoes Available just in time for chili season, Clearly by Best Choice Organic Fire Roasted Tomatoes come in crushed and diced varieties. Container lining is BPA-free.
Frozen Shrimp Customers can make a gourmet seafood dinner without all the work thanks to the new Best Choice Superior Selections Frozen Shrimp Entrees. These easy-to-prepare proteins are flash-frozen to lock in flavor. Five varieties include Shrimp Scampi, Breaded Popcorn Shrimp, Breaded Spicy Popcorn Shrimp, Breaded Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp, and Breaded Butterfly Coconut Shrimp.
Seafood Filets Swai, Salmon, Pollock, Cod, and Tilapia filets are frozen and individually vacuum-packed making these items great for smaller households. These Best Choice fish filets are all in the Top 10 most consumed fish species for the past 15 years. The pollock, cod and salmon are wild caught and call this attribute out right on the package.
Kids OTC Allergy Relief, Cough Syrup, and Anticavity Rinse are now available from Best Choice in kid-friendly sizes and flavors, bubble gum and grape.
Meat Best Choice will be rolling out several new meat items including breakfast sausage links and patties, bratwursts in a variety of flavors, Italian sausage links, and Italian-style meatballs. These items were met with favorable reviews when taste-tested at the Innovation Showcase. All items have no MSG, artificial colors or flavors.
