Best Choice Key Value Items

Select Best Choice items carry strategically lower pricing to help retailers compete with national brand promotional pricing every day. Continuous and consistent competitive pricing for national brand equivalent items helps consumers get excited about saving at the register.

Digital Coupons

Digital coupons are selected each promotional event for Best Choice, Clearly by Best Choice, Best Choice Superior Selections brands. These coupons span across departments and can deliver up to $150 in savings per event for consumers. Editable flyers, iron man signs, and social media graphics are created to help retailers easily promote digital coupons online or in-store. Coupons run weekly throughout each event and are available Sunday through Saturday and expire the following Tuesday. Look for holiday favorites, like potatoes, stuffing, pie filling; and party favorites, such as mixed nuts and entertainment crackers to have digital coupons available this holiday season. 

Sourcing the Best Cost of Goods Possible

Promotional opportunities create awareness on shelf, but AWG teams are working hard behind the scenes daily to help deliver the best everyday cost of goods possible. This work includes extensive reviews of products available in each category and ongoing vendor partner negotiations. More than 24 formal requests for the most competitive pricing have occurred in 2024, with multiple categories being assessed concurrently by AWG Brands and AWG Category Management teams.

The AWG Brands Sourcing team has successfully completed 30 RFP processes year-to-date in 2024 to deliver cost of goods savings resulting in improvements to assortment, supply, BSP improvements, increased promotional activity, etc.
