For more than 35 years, the National Frozen and Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) has promoted frozen foods through its flagship campaign, Frozen Food Month. This campaign brings together all segments of the grocery industry to help promote the entire frozen category to consumers. The NFRA encourages in-store and online promotions through traditional and emerging media, along with community events.

Frozen Food Month aims to increase the sales and consumption of frozen foods, and to enhance the overall positive sentiment surrounding this category. NFRA provides resources to help retailers and brands accomplish these goals, including social media content, in-store signage, a national $10,000 sweepstakes, coupon giveaways, and more.

The upcoming 2023 March Frozen Food Month promotion includes a mobile-first media partnership with AdAdapted, a consumer gift card giveaway, consumer communications through a panel of influencers, Easy Home Meals social media channels and blog, plus so much more! Scan the QR code below to purchase the point-of-sale materials, download your idea book, and learn more about this promotional campaign that will help you spotlight your frozen foods.

Each year, AWG Brands participates in Frozen Food Month, and in 2017 won Golden Penguin awards for its promotional content.

Dia de los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is an ancient Mexican holiday that dates back more than 3,000 years. It celebrates the lives of deceased loved ones and welcomes their souls for a brief reunion. Altars or memorials are often created with photos, favorite foods, candies, drinks, and candles to honor those who have passed away.
