For more than 30 years, the Best Choice Save-A-Label program has been supporting organizations in communities across the country. The program has given out over $4 million over those years, growing from a program designed for a short-term promotion to a relied upon fundraising option for thousands of non-profit organizations across all AWG-supplied states. With the addition of Clearly by Best Choice and Best Choice Superior Selections, the portfolio of item UPCs available for customers to redeem has grown as well. 

Despite all this growth, the program has looked very similar for all these years. That is until now. Now, it’s time for a new look and a new way to engage with AWG member-retailer customers.

There’s a new logo, new signage, a new website, a refreshed email program for participants, and even a way for organizations to be featured by the Save-A-Label program. 

For member-retailers, the Save-A-Label program is easy. All you have to do is sell Best Choice, Clearly by Best Choice, and Best Choice Superior Selections products and tell customers about the program. The rest is up to the customers. They apply to be in the program, collect and cut out UPCs of items in the Best Choice family of brands, and send them into AWG Brands for processing. Then, AWG sends the registered organization $30 for each bundle of 1,000 UPCs submitted. When the organization turns in their first batch of UPCs each calendar year, AWG Brands gives them an additional $30 as a bonus for participating in the program. 

If the member-retailer would like, AWG Brands will send an introductory letter to non-profits in their area asking them to participate in the program. There’s also signage available to remind customers about Save-A-Label and the good it’s doing in the community.
